Hi, I'm Phil. Somehow these are the some of the only photos I have of myself where I'm not drunk or doing something ridiculous and/or inappropriate. Anyway, I started Street Peeper like late 2006, early 2007'ish after a variety of odd-jobs: failed internet startup, co-author of a trashy novel (used copies starting at $0.01 on Amazon!), fired from 12 restaurants in NYC, occasional party promoter, and I sold beanie babies out of my NYU dorm room... So that's me in a nutshell... Hope you like Street Peeper.

So maybe you'll think I'm crazy, but Fashion is everywhere. I'd love for them to come to detroit and shoot, they'd find some pretty amazing things- but in the end, everywhere you go, people have fashion, and personal style. So rather than informing phil of your hometowns phenomenal taste, just people watch. i go to the city with friend all the time and I love to pig out on vernors (detroits ginger ale) , white castle, and bettermade potato chips. I think that's what this site is all about, STREETSTYLE. Thankyou, phil for sharing this with us. I hope I can party with you someday...

Countless trends,like people love to mix and match with h&m and maybe with sth from small stores, are developed in Hong Kong .Even though I have to admit that most of the trends follow what is hot in japan . But we change their idea into our own .

I agree 100%! I was just going to comment here that hong kong style is completely under-represented on this site and the entire blogosphere! I think that there are a lot of people with unique, individual, and personal styles here. Styles may not be as off-the-wall crazy as japan, but I think hong kongers have a sense of freedom in their styles, not restrained by the current trends, or concerned with looking like everyone else. Love the website. One of my all time fave sites for daily ensemble inspirations. Gotta say though, the west coast hasn't been peeped on in a while. This must be fixed! There's just too much creativity walking around Southern California,begging to be seen.
